GuttersMIXING* 1.2kgs Portland cement for every 1kg of K-MIX 688* Put the liquid in a clean mixing container and slowly add the powder component whilst stirring. using a slow speed (500-600 r.p.m.) heavy duty electric drill with a suitable paddle. Mix until homogeneous slurry is obtained and make sure that no unmixed powder is left at bottom of the container.SUBSTRATE PREPARATION1) Clean or remove all laitance, dust, oil, contaminants and previous coatings.2) Void, Honeycomb, bugholes, rockpocket, surface pitting shall be filled and patched before application.3) Wet the application area with water until water absorption is none to minimal with no water ponding(Saturated Surface Dry-SSD)4) Brush on 1 coat of K-MIX 688 primer (1 part K-MIX 688: 3 parts Water) to the substrate to ensure all pores are sealed off.APPLICATION METHOD1) After primer, prepare K-MIX 688 mixture follow by measuring area:2) Apply the prepared K-MIX 688 mixture by brush over the measure area, to serve as the first coat.3) Allow 1-2hours to cure before applying second coat (opposite direction with first coat)4) Let dry for 24hours before flood testing.5) Concrete topping is recommended for regular traffic areas.
